The Olde Castle Bar & Red Hugh’s Restaurant is a landmark building in the centre of Donegal Town. Standing proudly beside the magnificent 19th century Church of Ireland & under the shadow of Donegal’s most famous historical monument, Red Hugh O’Donnell’s Castle, on the banks of the River Eske.

We strive to create the best hospitality and provide the finest drinks and food, with an emphasis on the freshest locally produced seafood and steaks. All of our Food Ingredients are Locally Sourced where possible and our Beef, Lamb, Pork & Poultry are 100% Irish.
